Gymkhana

A Gymkhana is a form of scooter olympics. Amerivespa attendees compete against other attendees in a variety scooter events. Each event takes skill, daring and fair amount of luck.

Note: Due to insurance regulations, only rally registrants are allowed to participate in the Gymkhana.

Slow Race Events:

The scooter drag race will consist of two lanes, 15 meters (approximately 48 feet) in length with a start and finish line. Contestants will line up two at a time with the front scooter axle directly centered over the start line to ensure fair starts.

Once the judge signals start, each rider must place both feet on the scooter and proceed forward down the assigned lane to the finish line. The last scooter to break the plain of the finish line will be the winner, and advance to the next round. Each rider must successfully complete the course without going out of bounds or putting your foot down to advance into the next round.

The final trophy race will take place when only two riders remain.

Lane assignments will be drawn prior to competition. Judges have final word on decisions or protests.
